My name is Chuck Most, and I have been building models as a hobby since I was six years old... that would be since 1988, in case you were curious. I continued building for years afterward, though I had pretty much stopped by the time I'd graduated high school. I picked up the hobby again in 2005, and have not looked back since.

My prefered subject matter tends to be weathered old beaters and abandoned vehicles, though I do build "nice" ones too! Light commercial subjects are another favorite of mine. I'm a life-long Ford fanatic, so my models tend to lean that way, though I have built several different makes and models.

When I built my first model, a snap-together 1:32 scale Monogram Ford Mustang, I never dreamed there was such a thing as a "model car aftermarket". I could not fathom the idea of scratchbuilding my own parts. Today, I regularly rely on aftermarket resin, photo-etch, and machined metal parts on a variety of projects, and I routinely make my own parts, for those times when I either can't find or don't want to buy the component I need! I have mastered a few parts for Morgan Automotive Detail- namely the finned Hudson cylinder head, the 8-bolt rat rod wheels, the 1978 Ford round-headlight pickup grille, and a chopped Hudson Hornet body. And I certainly never thought I'd be a regular contributor to a major model car publication.... Model Cars Magazine, in this case. I wrote for them for nearly a decade beginning in 2009,pening the semi-regular "Commercial Break", which was dedicated to light commercial vehicle subjects. I also penned the first "Inspiration Files" piece. I have recently begun writing for Classic Truck Modeler and I am a moderator on modeltruckbuilder.com.

With regards to this web page... I have the feeling that this site, like 95% of the kits I have in my "stash", will be a constant and never-ending work in progress. In addition to showing off my finished projects, I plan to include more kit reviews, as well as some tutorials, and all manner of other musings regarding the scale automotive replica hobby. And maybe we'll get into some non-automotive replica ramblings, too. You'll find out when I find out!

Anyway, thanks for reading all that drivel, and please enjoy the site!
